Sheet masks are everywhere at the moment ranging from the mind numbing expensive to the downright cheap and nasty. This K-Beauty trend doesn’t seem to be going anywhere in a hurry, in fact it is one of the fastest growing sub categories in beauty retail. I won’t pretend to love everything about K-Beauty some of the stuff is being churned out is frightening, but there are many gems coming to the market – great quality sheet masks being one such jewel.

So, I was really looking forward to trying out the Seoulista Beauty Sheet Mask range last month when they landed on my desk. The marketing blurb tells us that Seoulista Beauty Instant Facial Sheet masks are all about no fuss, no drama, just fast-acting, results-driven skincare – which is exactly what I want from my skincare. So far, so good.

Great Brand, Great Price

From first impressions, Seoulista Beauty have done a really good job in terms of branding. The colourful outer packaging jumps off the page and clearly identifies the 4 mask types.  The masks themselves are bio-cellulose sheet masks which are infused with botanical serums. Bio-cellulose is made through the process of fermentation, using natural ingredients such as coconut and bamboo. During this process, the ingredients break down, creating skin-beneficial actives that are easy by the skin. At £7.99 / €8.99 each these masks containing 25ml of serum each are really well priced. Application couldn’t be easier, you simply pop the mask onto cleansed skin and leave for 20 minutes. There is plenty of serum left in the foil that can be applied to skin as a serum over the coming days (just seal the package well with a clip between use).

Seoulista Beauty Mask Types:

Super Hydration Instant Facial – infused with hyaluronic acid and coconut. Works to quench dehydrated skin while deeply nourishing and preventing the signs of ageing.

Charcoal Detox Instant Facial – a bamboo mask infused with charcoal and volcanic ask which works to eliminate toxins and impurities while deeply cleansing the skin.

Correct & Calm Instant Facial – infused with witch hazel, coconut and eucalyptus which work to reduce redness, skin irritation, blemishes and large pores.

Brightening Instant Facial – infused with Vitamin C, coconut and alpha hydroxy acids which work to exfoliate the skin and smooth texture, while providing a brightening effect.

So far I have tried the Super Skin Hydration and Correct & Calm masks and was impressed with the results. I have tried many different sheet masks over the years and would definitely put the Seoulista masks on par with sheet masks available at the higher end of the market.
